Travel Laundry Kit

I despise traveling heavy.

And by heavy, I mean that girl you see at the airport struggling to corral two huge suitcases, a carry on and purse while dragging her neck pillow thru the check-in line. Throw in a tiny dog yapping from a carrier for complete chaos.

Or at security when the guy in front of you slowly empties his entire pocket’s contents into the trays but somehow still misses his watch, then belt and has to go thru the x-ray machine three times. Sigh.

My goal at the airport is to glide thru security in yoga pants and slip-on shoes, rolling my carry-on along and arrive at my gate with plenty of time for a relaxing pre-flight cocktail.

One trick I have for traveling light is a laundry kit.

Beyond actually doing laundry, you can use the clothesline to dry bathing suits and towels or create a room divider with a pareo.

I use The Laundress soap packets because they are gentle on clothes but very effective and smell nice but any laundry soap that comes in a small pre-sealed packet works.
